Senior Sales Account Executive

Our client is an innovator in Source‐to‐Pay (S2P) & (P2P) supply chain & inventory solutions. With an established presence in key public sector institutions like the NHS, they are seeking an entrepreneurial new business hunter to build on their success. This US company is poised for its next growth phase with ambitions to target similar markets. You will play a pivotal role in this expansion, crafting and executing a go-to-market strategy, supported by product innovation, a referenceable client base, and a dedicated team.
What you will be doing:
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas from assigned verticals and prospective accounts by developing a GTM sales strategy.
- Generate a pipeline from ICP accounts via value-driven, personalised outbound.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives and government bodies. Broadening your influence, building long-term partnerships, and unearthing new opportunities.
- Be collaborative and proactive in managing cross-functional teams, including Solutions Engineers, Product, and Customer Success, in the pursuit of shared goals.
- Immerse yourself in the industry by attending tradeshows, roundtables, and events.
- Build your personal brand through knowledge and engagement with a reputation for integrity.
- Be adept at responding to tenders and frameworks with the ability to deploy a virtual team to support your response in a timely and comprehensive manner.
What we look for:
- A passion for working within the Public Sector with an energetic, results-oriented approach.
- Strong experience of direct selling to the Public Sector.
- Knowledge of procurement frameworks (regional & national) and wider Public Sector associations like SOCTIM, TECHUK and LEPS is a big plus.
- Experience in the P2P or S2P arena.
- Strong understanding of the tender process from full competition through to mini and direct award, including RFP and RFI stages.
- Awareness of Public Sector themes and drivers staying ahead of initiatives.
- Being commercially astute in protecting margin and achieving financial targets.
- A track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement.
- Be familiar with sales methodologies that support a strategic approach to selling and experience managing complex sales processes.
- Possess excellent presentation, written, and listening skills to be credible at a senior level.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and can see opportunity in ambiguity.
