IT Business Analyst

A 3 months+ opportunity for an IT Business Analyst has arisen with the local authorities in Dorset.

PAYE rate of £249.96 per Day + Hol Pay.

Reporting to the Server and Storage Manager, the purpose of the Senior Operations Analyst role is to ensure the high availability, integrity and security of all Corporate physical / virtual servers and associated devices both on premise and in the cloud, ensure the high availability, integrity and security of all DR (ASR) virtual servers and associated devices.

To be responsible for the Corporate SCCM service ensuring it is up to date and operational at all times.

To ensure the high availability, integrity and security of the Corporate, VDI and Database Storage Area Networks (SAN) and associated devices.

Skills and Experience:

• Recognised ICT technical related qualification(s) in Windows 2016 / 2019 OS, vmWare / Citrix / SAN technologies / Backup systems.
• Has comprehensive understanding of storage systems and practices, particularly those in common use within the employing organisation, and has a detailed practical knowledge of storage concepts and applications.
• Demonstrates the skills needed to handle innovation and change resulting from the implementation of new information and communications technology solutions.
• In-depth level expertise in Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory, Azure and Microsoft SCCM

Hours of work are 9am till 5pm, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
