Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of data management and visualization solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the business.
- Apply strong insurance data knowledge to collaborate with business stakeholders and deliver fit-for-purpose analytical and reporting solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain reporting structures and business data layers within the Azure Cloud data warehouse to support consistent, reliable reporting.
- Partner with business teams and IT to produce accurate, timely Management Information that reflects business performance and meets stakeholder needs.
- Work closely with IT to ensure management information systems, processes, and controls—including security—are robust and effective.
- Support enterprise-wide automation initiatives to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong SQL skills; experience with R, Python, or other programming languages is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and Access.
- Expert knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Looker.
- Ability to understand business needs and translate them into data and analytics solutions.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or another quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience working with data in analytics, data management, or BI roles.
- Background in insurance preferred.
- Experience working in cloud-based data and analytics environments.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools and systems, including Power BI.
