💰 Salary: £90,000–£115,000 + 25% bonus (up to 50%)

📍 Location: City of London (3 days onsite)

I’m partnering with a well-established London Market Insurer that’s looking to bring in a Cloud Platform Engineering Lead to take full ownership of their cloud platform and drive its evolution.

The role:

• Take the lead on designing and scaling a secure, high-performing cloud platform
• Own the Azure environment and ensure it aligns with best practices and architectural standards
• Stay hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), automation, and CI/CD pipelines
• Drive improvements across monitoring, performance, and cost optimisation
• Act as the key technical point of contact for an external cloud partner
• Champion security, governance, and compliance across all cloud initiatives

What they’re looking for:

This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in Azure cloud engineering, particularly in building and managing production-grade environments. You’ll be confident working with Terraform and modern DevOps tooling, and comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level.
