Head of Data Delivery & Analytics - Insurance

🚨 Head of Data Delivery & Analytics | £140K per annum + Bonus + Benefits | Insurance

📍 City of London (2–3 days onsite)

We are seeking a delivery-focused Data Leader to take ownership of the end-to-end execution of a major data platform transformation within a leading specialist insurer in the London Market.

This role sits firmly within technology—not a strategy or pure analytics position.

You’ll lead the rollout of a new cloud-based data platform (Databricks / Azure / Lakehouse), driving execution across a complex, stakeholder-heavy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own delivery of a large-scale data platform implementation (lakehouse / data warehouse)
• Lead on execution, integration, and rollout of the new data environment
• Manage programme delivery, timelines, budgets, and risks
• Lead a team of global/offshore teams
• Act as the bridge between business and technology, ensuring outcomes are delivered

What We’re Looking For

• Proven track record of delivering large-scale data platform / transformation programmes
• Strong technical background in data engineering, platforms, or architecture
• Experience delivering cloud data platforms (e.g. Azure, Databricks, lakehouse)
• Comfortable leading distributed/global teams
• Strong stakeholder management — able to challenge, influence, and drive decisions
• Experience in Insurance is essential
