Project Assistant (IT Projects)/ PMO Analyst
📍 City of London | Hybrid (3 days in office)
💰 £70,000 per annum + bonus + excellent benefits
I’m currently partnering with a well-established London Market insurer that is looking to hire a Project Assistant to join their UK IT team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior technology leadership and support the delivery of key technology initiatives within a global insurance environment.
This role will work directly with the CIO, Product Managers, and Project Management teams, helping coordinate the delivery of multiple IT projects and ensuring strong governance, documentation, and stakeholder communication across the project lifecycle.
The Role
You’ll play an important role in ensuring projects run smoothly across the organisation by supporting coordination, reporting, and project governance.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing administrative and coordination support across multiple IT projects
• Assisting with project planning, milestone tracking, and delivery reporting
• Maintaining project documentation such as status reports, RAID logs, and action trackers
• Supporting governance processes and preparing materials for project forums and steering committees
What We’re Looking For
• Experience supporting IT projects as a Project Assistant, Project Coordinator, or PMO Analyst
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills
• Experience maintaining project documentation and governance artefacts
• Familiarity with PMLC / SDLC project methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• A proactive and organised mindset, comfortable working across multiple initiatives
