Senior Android Engineer to join a mobile security team in Bristol OR Manchester UK. (2 days on site per week)

The role: Build and maintain mobile security components for the bank's Android apps - covering things like penetration testing, obfuscation, and consultancy - with a focus on scalability and staying ahead of evolving threats.

Key skills they want:

• Strong Kotlin/Java

• Deep Android SDK and UI design knowledge

• MVVM/MVI, Jetpack (Architecture Components, Compose)

• SOLID principles, modular codebases

• Offline storage, threading, performance tuning

• UI testing, Git, open-source Android libraries

• Self-motivated, comfortable with stakeholder management and architecting solutions

Essentially: a senior Android dev with modern Jetpack/Compose experience who can own security-focused mobile components end-to-end.
