GCP DevOps Engineer | Cloud Platform Engineer

Location: Bristol OR Leeds (3x days a week onsite is mandatory)

Duration: 6months + Rolling Contract

We are seeking an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing cloud engineering team delivering a strategic enterprise platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This is a hands-on role focused on building and operating scalable cloud platforms using modern DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.

Key Requirements

• Strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience

• Solid DevOps engineering background

• Expert-level Terraform/Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Experience designing and delivering cloud or hybrid-cloud platforms

• CI/CD pipeline development and automation

• Experience with tools such as Git, Jenkins, Terraform Cloud, HashiCorp Vault or similar

• Comfortable working within Agile engineering teams

• Enterprise environment experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, build and improve GCP-based platforms and services

• Deliver automated, API-driven cloud infrastructure

• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver cloud solutions end-to-end

• Support platform reliability, scalability and cost optimisation

• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
