Title: GCP DevOps Engineer

Location: London - hybrid, 2 days per week onsite

Duration: 6-12 months rolling

IR35: Inside IR35

I'm looking for a strong GCP DevOps Engineer for a London based client.

Summary

This role suits someone who has strong practical GCP DevOps experience and can help build, automate, deploy and support cloud infrastructure in a production environment

Core experience required (Mandatory)

• Strong hands-on Google Cloud Platform/GCP experience
• DevOps engineering background
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform
• Kubernetes/container experience, ideally GKE
• Linux and Scripting experience, such as Bash or Python
• Production support, troubleshooting, automation, and platform reliability experience

Nice to have

• GCP certification, such as Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Architect, or Associate Cloud Engineer
• Monitoring/logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, or Google Cloud Monitoring
• GCP networking, IAM, security, landing zones, or cloud governance
• SRE experience
• Wider GCP services such as Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, or Cloud Functions
