Network Engineer - SD WAN

My client, a large consultancy, is in need of a Network Engineer - SD WAN for a 6 month contract inside IR35 based in Warwick offering 2 days per week remote but requiring 3 days per week on-site.

The ideal candidate will have In depth knowledge of Wireless LAN (Cisco WLAN, Cisco ISE, Aruba WLAN, Aruba Clearpass) and private 5G (eg Cradlepoint) solutions, Proficiency in Wi-Fi survey tools (Ekahau), RF design, and deployment of enterprise-grade wireless solutions.

In depth knowledge of SD-WAN solutions (CISCO Viptela), In depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), carrier WAN and Internet offerings, cloud network services, In-depth knowledge of Cisco LAN switching technologies including STP, RSTP, MSTP, VLANs, EtherChannel and switch stacking; proficient in configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 Switches, implementing QoS, and managing network segmentation and redundancy, Ability to produce detailed designs, implementation plans, and operational support models, Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination across multiple environments.

Minimum Cisco CCNP certification level required
CCIE certification is desirable
Certified Wireless Networking Professional (CWNP) certification is highly desirable
Ideally SC certified or SC eligible
