Senior Oracle/SQL Database Administrator

My client, a large consultancy, is in need of a Senior Oracle/SQL Database Administrator for a 6 month contract opportunity inside IR35 based in Wokingham offering 2 days per week remote but requiring 3 days per week on-site.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands on DBA experience with Oracle and SQL Server in production environments, Strong proficiency in Oracle 12c/19c administration, SQL Server 2016+, RMAN, OEM, Data Pump, SQL Server Agent, SSIS/SSRS, Database performance tuning & query optimization

Experience supporting databases integrated with:
o SCADA/DCS,
o MES
o Industrial Historians (OSI PI, Wonderware, AspenTech)
o Plant automation systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong OT-Specific Experience like Working knowledge of OT networks, segmentation, and security zones, Awareness of OT constraints (limited bandwidth, Legacy systems, stability requirements)

Experience working within safety critical or regulated environments such as:
o Manufacturing
o Oil & Gas
o Utilities
o Power Generation
o Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences
o Chemical processing

The ideal candidate will desirably have Oracle OCP or OCM certification, Microsoft Certified: Database Administrator Associate, understanding of IEC 62443, NIST , or OT cybersecurity frameworks, Experience with data replication between OT and IT zones and experience with Linux/UNIX for Oracle environments.
