THIS PROJECT IS OUTSIDE IR35

We are seeking an experienced z/OS Extended Service Management Specialist for a long-term remote contract.

You will be responsible for supporting the stable operation of a z/OS environment, covering service and change management, incident handling, operational governance, license and capacity coordination, and disaster recovery support.

Required experience:

• z/OS 3.1
• IBM z16
• Strong understanding of z/OS architecture and dependencies
• IBM IWS
• CICS
• Db2
• BMC MainView AMI OPS
• Jira and Confluence
• Good English communication skills
• German is a bonus

Key responsibilities:

• Daily change approval
• Change and maintenance coordination
• Incident and service request management
• Escalation handling during critical production situations
• Participation in operational and service boards
• License and capacity monitoring
• RCA review and DR test support
