We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist consultancy delivering advanced technology solutions into the defence sector.

As a DevOps Team Lead, you will:

• Lead and mentor a growing DevOps team, ensuring alignment with project deliverables and organisational goals.

• Collaborate closely with the Head of Engineering to define and implement DevOps strategies supporting the secure deployment of AI solutions.

• Maintain hands-on involvement in developing and optimising CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and cloud environments.

• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS, with exposure to GCP and Azure.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the team.

• Proven experience in a DevOps leadership or management role with a strong technical background.

• Hands-on expertise with AWS; experience with GCP or Azure is a plus.

• Proficiency in containerisation technologies, particularly Kubernetes and Docker.

• Previous experience working on MOD or defence-related projects; familiarity with Navy Digital is highly desirable.
