Satellite AIT Electrical Systems Engineer

Job Title: Satellite System Test Engineer Location: Stevenage (Onsite)Type: Contract About the Role Love space, tech, and solving puzzles under pressure? We're on the hunt for a Satellite System Test Engineer to help us put spacecraft through their paces-from integration to surviving the extremes of space!You'll be the brain behind the test sequences, the first responder when things go sideways, and the voice in the room during mission-critical reviews.. Key Responsibilities

• Interpret test specs and create test procedures and scripts.
• Execute and debug spacecraft test sequences.
• Provide support during test anomalies and non-conformance investigations.
• Write automated test procedures using Elisa (Open Center) and Java.
• Support tests during thermal, EMC, and magnetic environments.

Skills & Experience

• Experience writing spacecraft test scripts using Central Checkout Systems (Elisa, Java).
• Knowledge of spacecraft systems: 1553, SpaceWire, AOCS, FDIR, power, thermal, etc.
• Familiar with TMTC databases and system verification.
• Hands-on with test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, bus analyzers).
• Basic scripting (bash) or programming (Python, Java, C) is a plus.
