Data Analytics Coach

Lead Coach — Data Skills Bootcamp, London (Level 4)

London-based, ~40% in-office· Starts October 2026 ·Level 4 data analytics (iO-Sphere programme)

Level 4 is analytics with real rigour, and you can teach it because you've lived it — past the basics, in a job where the analysis had to hold up. As lead coach you own a London cohort of 45 learners: you're in the room, you set the pace, and when someone's quietly slipping in week six, you're the one who catches it before it's a week-fourteen problem.

You'll lead delivery of our Level 4 Skills Bootcamp in data analytics — iO-Sphere's own curriculum, assessed against our own criteria — in person in London around 40% of the time, with a team of support coaches alongside you. You hold the standard for the whole cohort.

About iO-Sphere

We train people to do things with data and AI, not just learn about them. Learners work on real problems — including in Prism, a simulated business we built on 500 million rows of real data. 900+ people have trained with us, we're rated 4.8 on Google, and we're one of the UK's fastest-growing data and AI training startups. Teams at PwC, BAE Systems, Dunelm, Motorway and CBRE send us their people.

We're a startup, so how we coach isn't finished — and we'd want you helping build it. The people who improve how we do this are the ones deepest in it.

What you'll do

  • Lead live in-person sessions in London (our office is in E1, by Liverpool Street) — around 40% of the time, roughly two days a week
  • Own the pace and progression of the full 45-learner cohort — direct the support coaches, keep sight of where every learner stands, and step in yourself when it matters
  • Run onboarding (suitability) conversations with new joiners and offboarding/exit interviews, and provide information, advice and guidance (IAG) throughout
  • Put learners' additional learning support (ALS) plans into practice and teach inclusively, so everyone can access the material whatever their starting point
  • Mark Level 4 submissions against our own assessment criteria using our AI-assisted flow in iO Academy: review the draft, make the final judgement, write feedback specific enough to act on
  • Be the point of quality for the cohort — spot risk early, work with Delivery and Quality, keep the bar high
  • Run and document interventions when a learner needs support, and keep it all logged and up to date in Aptem — ALS plans, interventions, contact and progress — to the standard a regulated, inspected provider needs
  • Support learners towards data roles: portfolios, interviews, the "what next"

What we're looking for

  • Strong hands-on data analysis experience beyond entry level — SQL, a BI tool, and the judgement that comes from real work
  • Confident leading a room and setting a standard, not just presenting slides
  • Comfortable holding the standard across a large cohort and coordinating other coaches
  • Clear written English and a real eye for detail in feedback
  • A genuinely inclusive approach — you adapt so learners with different needs and starting points can all get there
  • AET Level 3 (Level 3 Award in Education and Training) or equivalent — or ready to complete it fast, before delivery starts (we fund it)
  • Experience delivering Skills Bootcamps is ideal
  • Able to be in London around 40% of the time (roughly two days a week) for the term

The essentials

  • Fixed-term contract, roughly four months. Starts October 2026, through to the week after the programme ends
  • London hybrid — around 40% in person at our E1 office (roughly two days a week)
  • Pay: £13,500–£20,000 for 4 months — £40k–£60k annualised — under PAYE
  • Enhanced DBS, safeguarding and Prevent training, and the right to work in the UK (we can't offer sponsorship)
  • Progression: depending on programme volume when the contract ends, there's a genuine route into further bootcamp delivery, trainer, or apprenticeship coaching roles with iO-Sphere

Location

This role is London-based — you'll be at our E1 office (by Liverpool Street) around 40% of the time, with the rest remote, working alongside the wider skills bootcamp team when you're in.

How we hire
