Marketing Lead
A fast-growing B2B SaaS company has built a product that's gaining serious traction across the UK, Europe and the US
Now they need their first marketing hire.
The Role
This is a builder role. You'll come in without a team, without a playbook, and work directly with the founders to create one.
That means owning positioning, shaping the go-to-market narrative, partnering with sales on pipeline, and being the person who decides what "good marketing" looks like at this company. Over time, you'll hire and lead a small team - that headcount is already signed off.
If you want a role where someone hands you a strategy, this isn't it. If you want to write the strategy yourself, keep reading.
What You'll Actually Do
- Define how the company positions itself and talks about its product
- Turn product updates into stories that resonate with buyers
- Build the content and sales enablement function from scratch - case studies, one-pagers, website, launches
- Partner closely with sales to strengthen pipeline and shorten deal cycles
- Hire and develop a small marketing team as the business scales
What We're Looking For
You're probably a Senior PMM, Marketing Lead or Head of Marketing in an early-stage SaaS business. You've built before, or you've been itching to.
Specifically:
- Solid B2B SaaS background, ideally with some enterprise exposure
- Strong product marketing instincts - positioning, messaging, narratives
- Comfortable supporting a sales team and understanding what actually moves pipeline
- You can write. Clearly. Without jargon.
- You've worked in a startup or scale-up and you're used to limited resources and building as you go
- You're genuinely excited by AI automation tools and actively use them in your work - this matters
