Our client are Data and Cyber security company who are looking for a bright, Security Operations Backup engineer, to join their growing team and business.

This role require someone who has a real interest in cyber security and has a minimum of 1 years experience working for a technology IT team.

The role:

• This role requires a proactive, adaptable, and technically skilled person to deliver hybrid services to cater for both IT Operations Desk & Backup and Recovery services
• This position will play a key part in delivering outstanding customer support and technical troubleshooting via our IT operations desk
• Managing their clients’ critical data through robust and efficient backup and recovery solutions
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:
• logging, triaging and where applicable resolving a wide range of IT issues, from storage, compute and networking support to complex security challenges, as well as configuration, managing and monitoring backup systems to ensure rapid data restoration when needed

Key skills you need:

• Experience delivering customer support in a Tier 1 or 2 level help desk
• Understanding Backup operations and have experience in this
• Proactive problem solver
• Able to learn quickly and move between different technologies quickly
