£60,000 – £65,000 salary + benefits
Hybrid working, 3 days onsite in the Bristol office and occasional travel to client sites

As the organisation continues to scale its analytics capability, they are looking for a senior candidate to own the governance, architecture and operational model of the Power BI / Microsoft Fabric estate and lead its maturity journey.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
You will work across business units, Enterprise IT and Information Management to ensure the analytics capability is robust, scalable and aligned to internal standards.
In this role, you will define and implement the governance framework, operating model and technical standards for their growing Power BI and Microsoft Fabric estate.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will own the governance, architecture and operational model of the Power BI and Microsoft Fabric estate, leading its maturity journey.
- Design and implement enterprise Power BI governance frameworks
- Define workspace strategy, RBAC models and lifecycle controls
- Oversee tenant-level configuration, monitoring and audit settings
- Lead Fabric capacity management and optimisation strategy
- Establish metadata, naming and documentation standards
- Align governance with IDA, security and regulatory requirements
- Rationalise legacy reporting assets to improve resilience
- Define RACI across business, IT and information stakeholders
- Optimise licensing models for commercial sustainability
- Present platform strategy recommendations to governance forums
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
- Deep Power BI / Fabric administration expertise
- Experience in governance and policy design
- Experience in platform architecture oversight
- Strong understanding of security and regulatory compliance
- Experience advising on commercial optimisation of licensing and platform capacity
