Digital Forensics Manager

Location: London – Hybrid (flexible)

Salary: £65,000 – £75,000

We are recruiting for a Digital Forensics Manager to lead and deliver forensic collection and investigation services as part of a dynamic and growing practice. This role is ideal for a seasoned forensic professional looking to take ownership of complex client matters across multiple jurisdictions.

The Role:

• Act as the primary client contact for forensic engagements, scoping requirements and providing expert updates.
• Lead forensic collections and analysis across a wide range of sources, including computers, mobile devices, servers, networks, and cloud platforms.
• Perform defensible collections in line with best practice methodologies (ACPO guidelines, ISO17025).
• Manage and mentor consultants, supporting knowledge sharing across the team.
• Provide technical leadership on forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, Axiom, Cellebrite and others.
• Deliver clear technical explanations and expert guidance to non-technical clients and legal teams.
• Oversee case management from initial instruction through to reporting, ensuring deadlines and client needs are consistently met.
• Stay at the forefront of emerging trends, tools and techniques in digital forensics.

Requirements:

• Degree in forensic computing or qualified by experience.
• Experience in digital forensics and consulting roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with leading forensic tools and methodologies.
• In-depth understanding of data acquisition, evidence handling and reporting standards.
• Proven ability to operate in a client-facing environment with strong interpersonal skills.
• Organisational ability to manage multiple investigations under tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to travel internationally at short notice when required.

Desirable:

• Professional certifications.
• Experience providing expert witness testimony.
