SC Cleared IT Support Engineer – (Bristol & Surrounding Areas)

Location: Bristol & South West Region

Contract Type: 3 months - Upto 1 year

Pay Rates: £18 - £25/hr (Inside IR35) via Umb

Requirement: Active Security Check(SC) Clearance or held in the past.

Overview

We are actively building a network of SC Cleared IT Support Engineers across Bristol and the South West for upcoming and ongoing contract work.

These roles cover both project and BAU environments , supporting secure clients in government, defence, and financial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line deskside or floorwalking support.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Office 365, Teams, and general desktop issues.
• Perform laptop builds, configuration, and migrations.
• Manage and track assets, including stock and disposals.
• Support end users with hardware and software problems.
• Escalate issues and update tickets in line with SLAs.

Requirements

• Active SC Clearance (essential)
• Previous experience in desktop or field support roles.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Flexible and reliable with strong problem-solving ability.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
