IT Support Engineer – Device Migration (SC Cleared)

Location: Onsite - Lincoln, UK

Contract Dates: 3 months(with a view to extend)

Pay Rates: £25/hr(Inside IR35) via Umb

Role Overview

We are looking for an SC Cleared IT Support Engineer to join a major device migration project at a secure site in the Lincoln area. You’ll be part of a dedicated technical team responsible for refreshing and deploying laptops, ensuring a smooth migration process within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the setup of a refresh clinic for device migrations.
• Move and prepare IT equipment from storage to deployment areas.
• Build, configure, and refresh laptops following defined processes.
• Accurately update workflow and asset management systems.
• Conduct daily manual stock checks and report findings to site management.
• Work closely with technical teams and site managers to resolve issues.
• Secure and store all devices appropriately at the end of each working day.

Requirements

• Active SC Clearance (essential).
• Experience in IT deployment , hardware refresh , or early-life support .
• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to process and security protocols.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a structured environment.
