The Opportunity
This role blends technical leadership and hands-on development.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Defining and embedding architectural standards
- Leading key Visualfiles development projects
- Acting as a technical authority within the team
- Supporting and guiding junior developers
- Working closely with stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and maintain architecture and development standards for Visualfiles
- Lead delivery of complex development projects
- Break down requirements into clear technical deliverables
- Provide accurate effort estimates and technical input into planning
- Assess commercial viability and ROI of development work
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define the best technical approach
- Promote best practice and ensure consistent development standards
- Act as a mentor and escalation point for the wider team
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Strong experience with Visualfiles development and solution design
- Proven ability to operate at a technical lead or architect level
- Background in legal or professional services environments
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
Desirable:
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform or low-code tools
- Experience working within ITIL / service management environments
- Deep understanding of the Visualfiles ecosystem
- Ideally a recognised architecture qualification (e.g. TOGAF)
