System Administrator
ServiceNow Administrator (Ideally SC Cleared)
Rate: £400- upto £500/day
Location: Hybrid - Hatfield, UK
Start: ASAP - upto 6 months
Required: Ideally SC Cleared (or eligible to obtain SC clearance)
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Administrator to join a growing team within a leading IT services provider. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in configuring and supporting the company’s ServiceNow platform to enable efficient delivery of Device Lifecycle Management (DLM) services.
You will be responsible for maintaining and improving ServiceNow processes and data to support large-scale device refresh operations for multiple customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure key ServiceNow data, including locations, schedules, appointments, assets, stockrooms, and work orders
- Perform triage and troubleshooting of ServiceNow issues, collaborating with internal IT teams to resolve problems
- Support ad-hoc reporting and provide key service statistics
- Recommend process and system improvements, documenting findings and proposed solutions
- Maintain accurate operational documentation and ensure consistent processes across teams
- Review release notes and validate systems before and after platform upgrades
- Act as a ServiceNow subject matter expert for the DLM refresh process, sharing best practices and guidance
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a ServiceNow administration or coordination role
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow components (tables, fields, reports, flows, business rules, etc.)
- ServiceNow System Administrator certification (or equivalent)
- Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Proactive mindset with a desire to develop further through learning and training
Desirable Skills
- Additional ServiceNow certifications in ITSM, FSM, Asset Management, or Walk-up Experience
- Basic JavaScript understanding
- Knowledge of system integrations
- Previous experience in large-scale IT or lifecycle management environments
