A global corporate law firm, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their established IT and Business Change team.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a prestigious international legal environment, supporting the delivery of a diverse range of IT and business transformation projects. You’ll engage with stakeholders across multiple business areas to define, document, and manage requirements throughout the full project lifecycle from discovery and business case development through to delivery, testing, and benefits realisation.

Projects will include both application and infrastructure-focused initiatives, requiring a balance of technical understanding, business acumen, and stakeholder management.

It is essential for the client that you have previously worked on IT projects within the legal sector.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and deliver the full business analysis process, including:

  • Defining project scope and identifying measurable benefits
  • Developing robust business cases
  • Eliciting, documenting, and managing requirements
  • Mapping and optimising business processes
  • Supporting business change and benefits realisation
  • Contributing to testing and facilitating user acceptance testing
  • Work collaboratively with project managers and senior stakeholders to determine the appropriate analysis approach
  • Facilitate workshops and complex stakeholder discussion
  • Produce clear, concise documentation and presentations for senior leadership
  • Influence decision-making and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, to include some experience within the Legal sector
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation capabilities
  • Ability to identify technical challenges and drive effective solutions
  • Experience working within a Legal or Professional Services organisation

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Exposure to large-scale business process change initiatives
  • Experience collaborating with external suppliers or offshore teams
