Head of Digital Service Management (Hybrid Working)
This is a senior leadership position responsible for providing strategic, operational, and technical direction across a diverse digital service portfolio.
You will ensure that digital services are delivery safely, timely, and to a high-quality, while remaining resilient, user-centred, and aligned to clinical and operational priorities across partner organisations.
Working within a newly formed Digital Service Team, you will play a key role in building a modern, high-performing service function that supports both current operations and future transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead digital service management, operational delivery, and application management functions
- Ensure services are secure, performant, and fit for purpose across multiple sites
- Embed and mature ITIL-based service management practices across the organisation
- Establish strong governance, standardised processes, and service reporting frameworks
- Drive a culture of continual service improvement and operational excellence
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to align services with organisational priorities
- Provide leadership across geographically distributed teams
We are looking for a candidate who can balance strategic vision with hands-on operational leadership.
You will bring:
- Significant experience in digital service management within complex organisations (healthcare experience desirable)
- Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service management best practice
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams across multiple locations
- Experience managing enterprise applications and live service environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
- A passion for improving services that directly impact patient care
Working Arrangements
- Hybrid working model in place
- Regular on-site presence required to support collaboration and service delivery
- Travel across network sites will be expected
