Learn more at insightsoftware.com Job Description insightsoftware is looking for a Solutions Engineer to join one of our EMEA pre-sales teams. Within the role, you will be responsible for:
- Applying and demonstrating insightsoftware solutions to potential customers
- Creating and improving demo content for live presentations and recordings
- Supporting the sales team in developing positive, effective relationships with potential customers and internal departments to ensure that potential customer expectations are exceeded
- Ensuring that Salesforce is properly completed by the entire team and provides statistics on key metrics
- Collaborating with the sales team to answer technical and functional software questions from potential customers
- Conducting discovery conversations with potential customers to comprehensively and accurately understand their challenges
- Staying up-to-date on new product features and their proper usage
- Presenting relevant and helpful demonstrations of all insightsoftware solutions, depending on where potential customers' needs lie
- Assisting with completing and reviewing requests for proposals and information (RFPs and RFIs)
- Providing and reviewing best practices for insightsoftware, use cases, and customer stories internally and externally to help potential customers with advanced use of application features
- Training prospects and customers through webinars, on-site training, presentations, and trial versions
- Preparing and conducting effective customer-specific demonstrations using potential customer data
- Providing information, training, and application-related knowledge by participating in customer/prospect roundtables, conferences, and other events
- Documenting relevant activities in Salesforce and other assigned tools
- Up to 30% travel across the DACH region
- Extensive experience in planning and budgeting within Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) is the most important requirement
- Past experience as a Solutions Engineer at enterprise level or hands-on experience as an FP&A Manager
- Past experience with financial software, statutory consolidation and/or disclosure management is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, economics, or business administration
- Experience in creating and presenting compelling presentations
- Proven ability to understand and address potential customer objections
- Strong ability to align product features with potential customers' business requirements
- Demonstrated integrity, trustworthiness, and good judgment
- Understanding requirements for planning, financial reporting, and month-end reporting
- Understanding Enterprise Resource Planning from a functional perspective
- Familiarity with advanced Excel capabilities and functions
- Past experience with insightsoftware's product suite is a plus
