Contract Software Engineer (Java / Microservices / Azure / SQL) - HealthTech - Outside IR35 - £500-£550pd - Fully Remote - 6 Months Are you an experienced Backend Software Engineer looking for your next outside IR35 contract My client, an innovative HealthTech company, is seeking a talented Java Engineer to join their platform team on a fully remote, 6-month contract.Role Overview: You'll play a key role in enhancing and integrating core backend services that power a modern healthcare platform. The focus will be on Java-based microservices, API integrations, and Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring a robust and scalable system that supports critical healthcare operations.Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong commercial experience with Java (8+) and microservices architecture
• Proven background in API and platform integration
• Solid understanding of Azure (Functions, App Services, Service Bus, etc.)
• Expertise in SQL and database performance tuning
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes beneficial)
• Strong communicator able to collaborate effectively in a fully remote team environment
