My client are transforming patient care through technology — and we need a Lead Test Engineer to take our automated testing to the next level.The Role We've built a solid automation foundation (Playwright, .NET, BDD) — now we need someone to own it, evolve it, and push our quality capability forward. You'll drive automation strategy, expand test coverage, and integrate testing seamlessly into our delivery pipelines.Expect autonomy, challenge, and the chance to make a visible impact on how healthcare is delivered.What You'll Do

• Own and enhance our Playwright automation framework.
• Expand coverage across UI, APIs, and integrations (Azure Functions, services, background processes).
• Improve reliability, reduce flaky tests, and strengthen reporting.
• Embed automation within CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
• Mentor manual testers growing their automation skills.
• Shape test strategy from idea to release.
• Partner with engineers across disciplines to ensure testability and speed of delivery.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience building and maintaining automation (Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, .NET).
• Strong grasp of pragmatic testing strategy — balancing UI, API, and integration coverage.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps preferred).
• Deep problem-solving skills; comfortable investigating and improving complex systems.
• Excellent communicator and collaborative mindset.
• Experience coaching or leading within QA.
