UX Researcher – UK Government – Remote

Our client, a government-funded public sector organisation, is looking for an experienced UX Researcher  to join their team on an initial 3month fully remote contract with extensions highly likely.You'll be joining a mature agile delivery team, working alongside two UX Designers, a Junior UX Researcher and two Front End Developers. This role is heavily research-focused, with responsibility for planning and leading research activities that inform the design and development of user-centred digital services.You'll be passionate about user research and experienced in selecting the right research methods to answer complex questions, including:

• Usability testing
• In-depth user interviews
• Diary studies
• User groups
• Remote research and evaluation
• Quantitative and qualitative research

You'll work closely with designers and developers to ensure research insights translate into effective digital experiences.We're looking for someone with:

• 3-4+ years' experience in UX Research, User Research or Usability.
• Experience working within an agency or client-side digital environment.
• A strong background in agile delivery and user-centred design.
• The confidence to lead research planning and stakeholder engagement.
• Essential experience delivering research on GOV projects.
