Our client is a high growth UK Fintech transforming digital lending and financial products to make credit more accessible, transparent, and customer-focused.
This is a senior leadership opportunity to shape and drive the company’s security strategy in a regulated environment. You'll lead the Information Security function, partner with senior stakeholders, and build a security-first culture as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Information Security team
- Own and evolve the security strategy, roadmap, and objectives
- Manage security risks, incidents, audits, and compliance activities
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Legal, and Leadership teams
- Drive security awareness, governance, and vendor management
- Report security metrics and risk insights to senior stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in Information Security, Cyber Security, or Security Engineering
- Strong knowledge of ISMS and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Experience developing security strategies and managing risk
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable working autonomously in a remote-first environment
Desirable
- Fintech, financial services, or high-growth technology experience
- Cloud, application, or infrastructure security expertise
- Experience supporting regulated products and sensitive customer data
- Background in hiring, mentoring, and scaling security teams
