Build the UK division of a proven US cybersecurity provider

Our client is a cybersecurity provider delivering tailored security solutions, managed services, and innovative technologies.

The Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Account Executive - 3-5 years to help build their UK division. You will work very closely with the UK Sales Director, opening accounts and delivering measurable outcomes. Expect genuine ownership from day one: clear priorities, quick feedback loops, and the autonomy to build a UK go-to-market that scales across Europe. What You’ll Do

  • New business development: open and establish new accounts.
  • Service income development: build a strong book of business as an MSP.
  • Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities for Inversion6 products and services.
  • Conduct sales calls to prospects and customers.
  • Articulate value propositions and solutions at all levels, including executive.
  • Maintain close contact with established clients to sustain and build relationships.
  • Maintain close contact with Inversion6 vendor partners; stay current on product updates.
  • Participate in industry-specific organisations and associations.
  • Generate proposals as needed.
  • Maintain activity reporting and customer information in Salesforce.

What they are Looking For

  • Proven success selling for a VAR, IT technology reseller, or cybersecurity risk management provider.
  • Demonstrated track record of opening new accounts in IT sales.
  • General understanding of IT infrastructure—especially security, storage, and networking.
  • Strong competitive drive, tenacity, resilience, and consistency.
  • Confident customer presence; able to communicate technology concepts at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish lasting customer relationships.
  • Framework fluency: familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK and core domains (EDR/SIEM/IAM/Zero Trust; cloud security across AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Solution experience: selling MDR/XDR, IR retainers, and/or risk & compliance services into mid-market/enterprise.
  • Methodology: comfortable with MEDDICC/MEDDPICC or Challenger.
  • Nice to have: experience with public sector frameworks and/or SC clearance eligibility.
