Digital Applications Lead - NHS

NHS Digital Applications Lead - £400.00 per day - Manchester - 3 Months

We are looking for a Digital Applications Lead to work closely with the Digital Applications Manager managing a team of 10 people. You will be responsible for ensuring the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of both clinical and non-clinical applications.

Must have the following experience:

Extensive experience in managing digital teams and delivering complex IT projects.

• Previously managed an Applications Team.
• Experience of working with senior managers and clinicians in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Expertise in system integration including API usage and data flow management.
• Advanced knowledge of IT systems including networks, databases and system integration.
• Ability to organise workload and allocate work to team, often within tight timescales.
• Strong understanding of information governance and regulations in a healthcare setting.
• Extensive knowledge of healthcare IT systems, including clinical and non-clinical applications, system integration and data flows.
• Extensive knowledge of how digital systems can support treatment of patients and processes in a hospital environment.
