I’m currently working with a client seeking Design Verification Engineers (all levels) to join their growing team in either Newbury or Edinburgh.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on digital verification for complex mixed-signal ICs , contributing to cutting-edge semiconductor projects within a highly technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and develop IC verification plans and test cases
- Lead verification activities to ensure high-quality IC delivery
- Build and maintain reusable UVM/SystemVerilog testbenches
- Drive improvements in verification methodologies and flows
- Support and mentor engineers within the team
- Contribute across the full design and verification lifecycle
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Experience verifying complex mixed-signal ICs / SoCs
- Strong background in metric-driven verification (coverage, constrained random, etc.)
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog (incl. SVA) and UVM or equivalent methodologies
- Strong debugging skills across RTL and testbench environments
Nice to Have
- Formal verification experience
- Scripting skills (Tcl, Perl, Python, etc.)
- Power-aware verification (CPF/UPF)
- Understanding of OOP and design patterns
Additional Information
- Hybrid working model (typically 2+ days onsite)
- Candidates should be within commuting distance or open to relocation
