Application Support Analyst
Leading Investment Bank – Senior Application Support Analyst (Equity Linked Tech)
Join a high-performing front-office aligned support team within Global Markets Technology, supporting critical trading, risk, and lifecycle applications across the Equity Linked business. You’ll work closely with traders and global technology teams to ensure stability, performance, and seamless day-to-day operations across a complex application landscape.
What you’ll do
- Provide 1st & 2nd line support for trading and risk applications
- Own incident, problem, and change management, driving stability and reliability
- Manage releases, deployments, and environment maintenance across Linux, Unix, and Windows platforms
- Partner with front-office users (traders) and global teams (AMRS/APAC) to ensure consistent operations
- Drive automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce manual workload
- Collaborate with development and integration teams on application onboarding and enhancements
What we’re looking for
- Strong application support experience in a fast-paced markets environment
- Strong hands‐on experience with Unix/Linux
- Solid database skills (Oracle or SQL Server)
- Scripting knowledge (Shell, Bash, Python beneficial)
- Experience supporting or operating batch systems (Autosys/Control‐M or similar)
- Effective communicator, calm under pressure, strong incident‐management skills
Nice to have
- Experience with Splunk or similar log/monitoring tools
- Background in Prime Brokerage or Global Markets
- Familiarity with Dynatrace or other APM/Observability tools
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation
