Risk & Compliance Analyst

We are looking for a Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our growing Risk and Compliance team and play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation's risk management and compliance efforts. This position involves ensuring the organisation identifies, manages, and mitigates risks while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will collaborate with multiple teams across the business, including Legal, Finance, Security, and operational teams, to devise and support action plans that protect our business, increase trust, and ensure compliance with evolving governance and risk standards. As part of this role, you will play a key role in the implementation of a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool, which will centralise and streamline our risk management and compliance processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, configure workflows, and ensure the tool aligns with organisational needs. This includes managing data migration, conducting testing to validate functionality, and providing training and support to end-users. By helping embed the GRC tool into our day-to-day operations, you will enable enhanced visibility of risks, improved compliance tracking and monitoring, and more efficient reporting, ensuring our organisation meets its objectives effectively. What will be your core responsibilities? Policy Implementation : Support the development and implementation of governance, risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring adherence and monitoring effectiveness. Risk Assessment : Conduct regular risk assessments across the organisation to identify, evaluate, and prioritise risks. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies. Compliance Monitoring : Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable regulations and internal standards, providing regular reporting and guidance to stakeholders. Collaboration : Partner with cross-functional teams to promote awareness and integration of compliance practices across the organisation. Training & Support : Assist in the creation and delivery of training programs to enhance understanding of compliance, risk, and governance requirements. Incident Resolution : Act as a point of contact for compliance and risk-related queries, providing timely support and resolving issues effectively. Reporting & Analysis : Work to develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics that provide insights into the organisation's risk profile and compliance posture. Documentation : Maintain comprehensive records of governance, risk and compliance standards and processes, ensuring clarity and accessibility for internal stakeholders. GRC Tool Maintenance and Monitoring : Oversee the ongoing maintenance and monitoring of the GRC tool, ensuring it remains up-to-date, functions effectively, and continues to meet organisational requirements. Proactively identify and resolve issues, implement updates, and optimise workflows to enhance its performance. What key skills do you need? 1-3+ years of experience in risk, compliance, or a related field with familiarity in governance frameworks. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills to convey the value of risk and compliance activities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Detail-oriented and capable of working with complex concepts, including regulatory frameworks and governance models. Proficiency in risk management and compliance tools, databases, and reporting platforms. A self-motivated individual who thrives in both independent and team environments.
