Vice President of Product Management
One of the best-funded data platforms in European fintech has raised $150M+ and built a moat that genuine incumbents cannot touch and they are looking for a VP of Product. You will own execution across the entire core product estate: multiple vertical teams, a Group PM layer reporting to you, and the scope to build the operating model yourself. You manage managers, you own commercial outcomes, and you make the prioritisation calls that others avoid.

They are changing that, giving global financial institutions and Tier-1 professional services firms access to real-time, AI-powered data and intelligence.
After a period of hyper-growth and landmark valuation milestones, the business is at a genuine strategic turning point. The transition from founder-led to a sophisticated, multi-vertical scale-up is underway. As VP of Product, you step in as the Lead Operator, reporting directly to the CPO and owning day-to-day execution across multiple functional squads, freeing the CPO to focus on long-term strategy and AI-native futures.
Responsibilities
- Operational Execution: Take ownership of near-term delivery, maintaining quality outcomes and consistent velocity across several vertical product squads.
- Management of Managers: Develop and lead the leadership layer, coaching existing managers and scaling the organisation well beyond individual contributor management.
- Optimising Delivery: Introduce robust success metrics and data-driven frameworks that shift the team toward a proactive, disciplined model of delivery.
- Strategic Partnership: Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the C-suite to connect the multi-year vision with today's roadmap, rituals, and commercial impact.
- Commercial Leadership: Tie product outcomes directly to ambitious growth targets, ensuring every release carries a clear business case and measurable ROI.
Requirements
- Scale-up DNA: Deep experience inside high-growth B2B SaaS businesses during significant expansion phases.
- Senior Leadership: A proven track record as a VP or experienced Director, ready to step into a pure management-of-managers mandate.
- The Operator Archetype: A builder and optimiser who finds genuine satisfaction in improving the machinery of product delivery.
- Data-Driven Judgement: Demonstrated success implementing metrics and using data to navigate high-stakes prioritisation decisions.
- Engineering Fluency: Substantial experience operating as a peer to senior Engineering leadership to drive technical and product alignment.
- Location: Central London (Hybrid).
