Head Of SAP
The role:
The Head of SAP will be a commercially driven leader who owns and grows nxzen’s SAP capability with a focus on new business development, market share expansion, and strategic positioning in the SAP ecosystem.
This senior leadership role combines SAP domain knowledge (particularly S/4HANA), go-to-market strategy, client engagement, and practice scaling across regulated sectors such as energy, utilities, infrastructure, and critical national infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:
The Head of SAP will lead the definition and execution of nxzen’s SAP growth strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business expansion and revenue targets. Own the SAP go-to-market approach, including design of service offerings, pricing models, market positioning, and sales enablement activities. Govern a portfolio of large SAP programmes and strategic accounts, balancing revenue growth with delivery quality, risk management, and commercial performance.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with C suite and senior client stakeholders, acting as an executive sponsor across complex, multi-programme SAP portfolios and ensuring consistent standards, governance, and value realisation. Establish, scale, and lead nxzen’s SAP practice with a strong focus on capability development, quality of delivery, and commercially sound outcomes.
Stay closely aligned to SAP product roadmaps and innovation, translating ecosystem developments into differentiated, client-relevant propositions. Own and nurture strategic partnerships with SAP, hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP), and specialist partners to strengthen nxzen’s SAP market position and extend solution breadth.
Strategy & Commercial Growth:
• Build and manage a strong SAP sales pipeline, supporting bids, proposals, and commercial negotiations
• Identify new market opportunities and strategic accounts to grow nxzen’s SAP footprint
• Act as the senior SAP representative externally, raising nxzen’s profile with clients, partners, and industry forums
Client Leadership & Business Development:
• Drive account expansion through cross-sell and up-sell of SAP services
• Build trusted relationships with senior cxo level stakeholder
• Provide executive oversight across complex, multi-programme SAP portfolios
• Influence client SAP strategy through thought leadership and advisory-led engagements
Practice Leadership & Capability Growth:
• Build, scale, and lead nxzen’s SAP practice with a strong focus on capability, quality, and commercial outcomes
• Define core SAP offerings, accelerators, delivery approaches, and reference architectures
• Lead recruitment, capability development, and succession planning for the SAP practice
Strategic Alignment & Ecosystem Engagement:
• Maintain a strong understanding of SAP product roadmaps and innovation, translating them into client-relevant propositions
• Own strategic relationships with SAP, hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP), and niche partners
• Drive joint go-to-market initiatives and partner-led opportunities
• Position nxzen as a differentiated SAP partner within the utilities and regulated industries market
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a senior SAP leader with a background in large consultancies or global system integrators, who has successfully owned and governed substantial SAP portfolios across multiple clients and programmes. You will bring a strong commercial mindset, with clear evidence of driving business development, building pipeline, and growing key accounts.
Your expertise will span SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, cloud deployment models, and integration patterns, underpinned by a career that has progressed through hands-on SAP delivery roles. You will be highly credible in programme governance, SDLC, and project management, with the ability to oversee complex, multi-team delivery landscapes.
Experience in regulated or asset-intensive sectors such as energy, utilities, or infrastructure is important, along with a track record of achieving strong commercial outcomes and client satisfaction. You will be a confident communicator at executive level, able to influence C-suite stakeholders and shape strategic SAP transformation agendas.
• Full P&L ownership experience, including revenue, margin, utilisation, cost management and investment decisions for an SAP or enterprise applications practice
• Experience scaling or transforming SAP practices in high-growth or turnaround environments
• Strong understanding of SAP Finance and/or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
• Established network within the SAP ecosystem and hyperscale partners
• Growth-oriented, commercially astute, and market-driven
• Strategic thinker who can connect SAP roadmap, client needs, and business outcomes
• Credible, calm, and persuasive at the executive level
