Commercial Manager

We're working with a dynamic and growing IT services business that’s expanding its reach – and looking for a Commercial Manager to play a critical role in pricing, bid management, and commercial contract support.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Lead pricing activity for new and existing business opportunities – including RFPs, renewals, and tenders
  • Build and develop pricing models that are both commercially attractive and aligned with internal profitability targets
  • Coordinate and support the bid process, working closely with senior stakeholders and account teams
  • Draft and manage contracts, addenda, and all supporting commercial documentation
  • Liaise with Finance, Ops, and Sales to ensure accurate cost modelling
  • Conduct profitability analysis and provide commercial insight to drive margin improvement and revenue growth
  • Support market research and competitive analysis to assess future opportunities
  • Ensure robust contract governance and compliance with internal and external standards
What we’re looking for:
  • Proven experience in bid/pricing environments, particularly within IT services or a similar sector
  • Strong understanding of contract terms, governance, and risk
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills – advanced Excel is essential
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and transforming data into meaningful reports
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills – able to liaise confidently across all business levels
  • Commercially minded, highly organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Self-motivated, solutions-focused, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
