Dynamics 365 CE Functional Consultant
Seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 CE Functional Consultant to join an excellent team.
To be successful in this role, you will have a deep understanding of the Dynamics 365 CE platform, with a high level of experience in functional consulting. Specifically in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service. Here, you will collaborate with clients to gather requirements, designing and configuring solutions, providing guidance on best practices, and contributing to pre-sales activities within this busy and dynamic technology area of our business.
Required Skills & Experience:
- In depth understanding of the Dynamics 365 CE platform, modules, features, and capabilities.
- Previous experience in functional consulting for Dynamics 365 CE especially around Sales, Marketing and Customer Service.
- Proficiency in gathering and translating business requirements into functional requirements and solution designs.
- Understanding of Dataverse, data models, data migration strategies and data integration methods
- Understanding of security roles, permissions and information security/data protection related to CRM data.
- Hands on experience in configuring Dynamics 365 CE solutions including form design, business process flows, views, and dashboards.
- Understanding of application lifecycle management in relation to Dynamics 365 CE solutions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of related technologies e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform (including Power Pages)
- Experience in creating documentation including FRDs, Solution designs, user guides, training material for Waterfall, Agile and hybrid delivery.
- Relevant Microsoft certification e.g. PL-200, MB-210, PL-600.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers to gather and document functional requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs.
- Design, configure, and customise D365 CE applications to align with client requirements, mapping requirements to product capabilities and performing fit gap analysis.
- Deliver workshops, demos and training sessions to customers.
- Provide guidance on best practices for utilising D365 to optimise business processes including business process assessments and recommendations.
- Collaborate with technical resources on solution architecture, custom development, integrations and data migrations.
- Perform system testing, quality assurance, and issue resolution.
- Create appropriate documentation including FRDs, Solution designs, user guides, training material for Waterfall, Agile and hybrid delivery.
- Stay up to date with the latest D365 CE updates, features and industry recommended practices.
- Contribute to pre-sales activity, including scoping, proposal development and client presentations.
