Power BI / Microsoft Fabric Consultant

Recruiting a highly skilled and motivated Power BI / Microsoft Fabric Consultant to lead design, development, and delivering cutting-edge analytics solutions that make a real impact. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic thinking. Enabling clients to unlock insights and value from their data using Microsoft’s latest analytics stack.

As an expert in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, you’ll architect scalable, modern data solutions that unlock real business value and guide delivery teams through implementation. With your deep knowledge in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure data services, and your passion for innovation, technical expertise with strategic thinking to support data-driven transformation. Here, you’ll partner with stakeholders, guide delivery teams, and help clients harness the full potential of Microsoft’s newest analytics ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end analytics solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
  • Translate business requirements into scalable data models, lakehouse architectures, and reporting frameworks
  • Develop and optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models using DAX and Power Query
  • Implement Fabric components including Data Factory, Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, and Notebooks
  • Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to ensure seamless integration and data quality
  • Support presales activities including solution design, effort estimation, and client presentations
  • Establish and promote best practices in data governance, performance tuning, and DevOps for BI

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade Power BI solutions
  • Implement robust data transformation and validation processes to ensure accuracy and alignment with business definitions
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data modellers, and reporting teams to ensure the curated data supports deeper insights into corporate performance
  • Optimise data pipelines for scalability, reliability, and maintainability using best practices (e.g., modular ETL design, version control, CI/CD)
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric architecture and components
  • Expertise in Microsoft Fabric Data Engineering Fabric Dataflows / Azure Data Factory
  • Experience with Azure Synapse, Data Lake, SQL, and integration pipelines
  • Desirable:
  • Experience with other low-code or analytics platforms
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and security models
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power BI Data Analyst Associate, DP-600)
