The Role
The role is primarily focused on programming in Haskell to create smart contracts. The candidate will work with the company's clients to understand how their processes and systems work, identifying areas where this technology can bring large efficiencies to their existing workflows, then build the finished product in the form of smart contract applications using Haskell.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside smart and motivated colleagues working on the development of distributed ledger technology which will be used to interconnect firms across industries into a global network. This is a chance to define an emerging sector.
The ideal candidate:
- Is a strong functional programmer in any language (e.g. Haskell, F#, OCaml, Elixir, Scala, Lisp etc)
- Has previous experience in a quantitative or highly technical role
- Is a strong communicator who enjoys collaboration
- Has a creative mindset and can turn an idea into pragmatic code
- No prior blockchain/DLT experience is required
