Permanent | Up to £70,000 + benefits

This role goes far beyond visual design. It’s about owning UX logic, setting global design standards, and acting as the critical bridge between Group strategy, local market teams, Product, and Engineering. Success here is defined by clarity of communication, diplomatic influence, and the ability to align diverse stakeholders around a shared product vision.

Even if you haven’t formally led a team before, this role offers structured opportunities to grow your leadership skills while making a tangible impact across multiple markets.

The Role

As Product Designer, you will be the strategic anchor for product design across the group. You’ll ensure every journey is logical, every interaction is feasible, and every execution meets a consistently high bar for quality.

A major part of the role is stakeholder leadership. You’ll work closely with multiple international market teams, each with their own priorities and perspectives, and guide them towards a unified, world-class global experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Take ownership of strategic product design initiatives from early logic and information architecture through to polished UI, with guidance and support to help you grow into leadership responsibilities
  • Shape UX logic and flow design, acting as a guardian of how the product works, while learning to manage edge cases and design decisions in complex environments
  • Champion data, research, and experimentation, driving A/B testing and user research to validate decisions and optimise conversion
  • Bridge Design and Technology, working closely with engineers to align on feasibility and ensure design intent is realised in build
  • Set and protect global standards, running design reviews and quality assurance to ensure consistency across all markets

Who They’re Looking For:

  • A diplomatic communicator who can navigate complex stakeholder environments, delivering “polite but firm” alignment while growing their influence
  • A hands-on, strategic doer across UX and UI, comfortable contributing at both vision and execution levels, with support to expand into leadership responsibilities
  • Logic-led by nature, with a deep appreciation for information architecture, system states, and end-to-end user flows
  • A collaborative partner to Product and Engineering, with a strong understanding of development constraints and room to deepen cross-functional influence
  • Someone who enjoys mentoring and supporting other designers—or is eager to develop these skills with guidance
  • Ambitious and capable, even without prior leadership experience, with the drive and support to grow into a leadership role

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • True reminder: Designs used by millions of customers across Europe
  • Challenger mindset: A mature organisation that still moves fast, tests, and iterates
  • International exposure: Work with talented, distributed teams where influence really matters
  • Growth potential: A chance to have career progression into leadership while being supported in developing the skills to thrive at a global scale
