Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer (Contract)

Location: London - Hybrid (remote working is possible)

Day Rate: £400-£425 per day

Contract Length: 3 months

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer (Contract) with strong expertise in Node.js, React, and payment gateway integrations. This is a key role in delivering secure and scalable applications with a particular focus on integrating payment systems such as Stripe, Worldpay or Paypall etc.

You’ll work alongside a senior team to build production-ready code and ensure payment workflows meet the highest standards of security and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using Node.js and React
• Lead and implement integrations with Stripe.
• Write clean, modular, and testable code
• Collaborate with other developers, designers, and product leads
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly in a production environment
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance best practices are followed

Essential Skills and Experience

• Strong commercial experience with Node.js and React
• Hands-on experience integrating Stripe, Barclaycard, Trust Payments or Other Similar Payments Platforms
• Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Good knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and Agile environments
• A strong focus on secure coding and data protection
• Proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
