Senior User Experience Designer
Remote (UK-based) | Occasional travel to Bristol, Reading or Exeter
Up to £70,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
We’re partnering with an established and highly innovative technology business undergoing a major evolution in how digital products are designed, built and delivered.
Operating within a complex B2B and B2B2C environment, the company is investing heavily in modern product thinking, AI-assisted workflows and connected digital experiences, and they’re now looking for a Senior UX Designer to help shape that future.
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for a strategically minded UX designer who wants to move beyond simply delivering tickets and instead play a key role in defining products, influencing stakeholders and driving meaningful outcomes.
The organisation works across complex systems including property technology, mapping/geospatial products, onboarding journeys, workflow platforms and data-rich operational tools.
The Opportunity
This role sits within a growing UX team working across multiple product squads. The business already has strong delivery capability in place – this hire is specifically intended to bring fresh thinking, innovation and a more forward-looking product mindset into the team.
You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering teams across discovery, ideation and delivery, helping shape scalable, user-centred experiences while influencing how teams collaborate and solve problems.
The environment would particularly suit someone who:
- Enjoys solving complex product and workflow challenges.
- Thinks strategically and commercially, not just tactically.
- Is comfortable influencing stakeholders and leading conversations.
- Has strong modern visual design instincts.
- Is excited by AI-enhanced design and delivery workflows.
- Thrives in evolving, fast-moving product environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading UX work across discovery through to delivery.
- Designing intuitive, scalable experiences across complex systems.
- Facilitating ideation, workshops and product thinking sessions.
- Partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams.
- Conducting and contributing to user research and insight generation.
- Influencing stakeholders and helping shape product direction.
- Driving outcome-focused design decisions rather than output-led delivery.
- Contributing to modern UX processes and AI-assisted ways of working.
- Supporting and mentoring other designers within the team.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a true senior-level UX professional with a balance of strategic thinking, communication skills, and strong design execution.
You’ll likely bring:
- Strong experience across both UX discovery and delivery.
- Experience designing complex digital products, platforms or workflows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong product thinking and commercial awareness.
- A modern portfolio with polished visual design work.
- Confidence working in cross-functional product teams.
- Experience working across ambiguity and evolving product visions.
- Curiosity around AI tools, experimentation and new ways of working.
- An understanding of accessibility, scalability and usability best practice.
Experience within any combination of the following is essential:
- PropTech.
- Mapping or geospatial products.
- CRM or workflow-heavy systems.
- Data-rich platforms.
- B2B or B2B2C products.
- Enterprise or operational tooling.
- Implementing AI workflows.
The Kind of Person Who Will Succeed Here
The team is looking for someone who is:
- Innovative and curious.
- Outcome-focused rather than task-focused.
- Confident communicating with stakeholders.
- Adaptable and comfortable with change.
- Collaborative and commercially minded.
- Hungry to push products, teams and ways of working forward.
This is not the right role for someone who wants highly rigid processes or purely execution-focused design work. The business wants someone who can help define the work, not just deliver it.
