Service Designer
A leading consultancy is seeking a Senior Service Designer to join its growing digital transformation team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to shape meaningful, user-centred services across high-impact public and private sector programmes.
Salary: Up to £80k
Based: London (Hybrid 2-3 days in office)
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will play a key role in designing end-to-end services that are intuitive, efficient, and aligned with both user needs and organisational goals. This role offers the chance to influence complex systems, drive innovation, and deliver tangible outcomes at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead service design activities across the full lifecycle, from discovery through to delivery
- Map and optimise end-to-end user journeys and service ecosystems
- Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions with stakeholders and users
- Translate research insights into actionable service improvements
- Collaborate closely with product managers, researchers, designers, and engineers
- Champion best practice in service design and user-centred design methodologies
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in service design within complex environments
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies
- Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to influence and drive strategic decisions
