💡 The Opportunity

You’ll be embedded on-site with a key client in Central London, acting as a vital link between end users and a wider remote support team. This role goes beyond traditional support—it’s about proactive problem solving, continuous improvement, and delivering real impact.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring a seamless IT service, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and driving efficiency across the service desk function.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

* Delivering responsive, high-quality desktop support in a dynamic environment

* Acting as an escalation point to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively

* Managing incidents, service requests, and changes in line with ITIL best practices

* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date ticketing records (“if it’s not logged, it didn’t happen”)

* Proactively monitoring systems and responding to alerts before they impact users

* Supporting onboarding/offboarding processes with 100% accuracy and timeliness

* Driving down recurring issues through root cause analysis and automation

* Maintaining documentation and contributing to a robust knowledge base

* Supporting patching, vulnerability management, and licensing compliance

* Collaborating with remote teams and engaging with stakeholders at all levels

🧠 What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience in a Desktop Support / IT Support role

* Strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft environments (Windows, M365, AD/Azure AD, GPO, Servers)

* Experience with IT Service Management tools (ConnectWise experience is a bonus)

* Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, firewalls, troubleshooting)

* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively

* Confident communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders

* A proactive, solution-focused mindset with strong attention to detail

* Ability to work both independently on-site and collaboratively with remote teams
