Key Account Manager

A dynamic and forward-thinking technology business is looking for a highly proactive Key Account Manager to join their collaborative and fast-paced commercial team. You will take full ownership of a core client, utilising your proven account management skills with a strong focus on continuing to drive revenue, growth and maximise profitability, alongside optimising service experience and assuring customer satisfaction and value add. Through regular communication via phone, email, in-person meetings, presenting in front of large client audiences, and facilitating learning sessions, you will influence decisions, deliver tailored solutions, and ensure a seamless customer experience that supports long-term growth.

The day to day

  • Oversee and nurture existing key client account to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute strategic customer account plans.
  • Seek opportunities to create additional value and exceed expectations.
  • Engage key stakeholders UK wide, assure understanding of local expectations.
  • Achieve all KPIs while driving consistent year-on-year growth.
  • Prepare customer forecasts and develop tailored growth strategies.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and deliver engaging presentations.
  • Proactively escalate customer issues to appropriate stakeholders within the business, following through to assure satisfactory resolution.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to generate innovative ideas and support process improvements or new product initiatives.
  • Contribute to cross-departmental projects that align with company-wide objectives.

You will have/be

  • Proven commercial experience in the management and development of large client accounts
  • Track record of key client retention and growth
  • Commercially focused with a proactiveness in creating and managing revenue opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a naturally structured working style.
  • Enthusiasm for delivering real client value.
  • Professional, confident telephone manner.
