About Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Tester with 4+ years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). The candidate will work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to ensure high-quality software releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Design, develop, review, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and System Testing.
- Validate web, mobile, and API-based applications through manual testing.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
- Execute end-to-end testing across multiple environments.
- Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure test coverage for new features and regression cycles.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and UAT testing.
- Experience writing comprehensive Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scenarios.
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
- Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good to Have
- Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts.
- ISTQB certification is an added advantage.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing activities.
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to deliver quality releases within project timelines.
