Role Description
A hybrid role based in London & Suffolk, (with travel as required with flexibility for some home-working).
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Reporting Manager to join a major programme delivery team and play a pivotal role in transforming project data into meaningful insights that drive decision-making. Working closely with the Reporting Lead, you will oversee reporting activities across large, complex projects, ensuring stakeholders receive accurate, timely, and actionable information.
This is an exciting opportunity for a reporting and data analytics professional with experience of Data Lakes, ETL processes, and the Microsoft Power Platform to join a high-performing team and influence project outcomes through data-led decision making.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the collection, analysis, and presentation of project data through reports, dashboards, graphs, and visualisations.
- Work with IT and Digital teams to improve data availability and accessibility through Data Lake environments.
- Utilise ETL processes and Databricks to prepare data for reporting and analytics solutions.
- Own the quality, consistency, and visual standards of reporting outputs across the project.
- Implement Power Apps solutions to improve data capture, workflow efficiency, and stakeholder engagement.
- Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and predictive insights.
- Collaborate with Project Controls, PMO, Digital teams, supply chain partners, and key stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are met.
- Ensure reporting is accurate, validated, and aligned to project governance standards.
- Champion continuous improvement in reporting processes, data management, and visualisation techniques.
What We’re Looking For
We're looking for a confident and analytical professional who can combine technical expertise with strong stakeholder management skills.
Key Skills & Experience: ESSENTIAL
- Proactive in sourcing and collating reporting updates.
- Degree in a numerate discipline, HND, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience working within large-scale, complex project environments.
- Strong understanding of Data Lakes, data extraction, integration, and transformation processes.
- Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps.
- Data Analytics and/or Data Science capability.
- Experience designing and improving reporting systems, processes, and governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience operating within large corporate or programme delivery environments.
- Ability to lead teams while remaining hands-on when required.
- Exposure to major infrastructure, engineering, construction, or programme delivery projects
Desirable (but not essential):
- System Administration certifications.
- Experience working in multicultural or international project environments.
