We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Change Manager to join the Guinness Team. This is a permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week vacancy based in our Oldham office. We are currently working to a hybrid working style.
The overall purpose of the role is to lead the Business Readiness practice, shaping, scoping, planning and driving the delivery of the business change adoption strategies for the Technology Plan, ensuring that programmes and projects effectively prepare the business for the associated people, process, and technology changes required to achieve the business benefits targeted.
You will be part of a Business Change Management Team, and responsible for a team of Business Change Managers, Specialists and Officers.
This is an exciting time to join the team. We are currently working towards delivering our Digital, Data & Technology Strategy and are on a journey of implementing technology to make our processes more efficient, increasing our visibility of legislative compliance and to continuously improve the way we deliver our services.
We are doing this alongside other business improvement activity in an exciting Change Portfolio.

Working across a Change Portfolio, you will be responsible for;
- Defining the Change Management Plan to monitor benefit realisation from investment in new technology working with stakeholders at different levels across the business, and reporting into governance forums.
- Ensuring that key stakeholders from across the business are engaged, informed, and supportive of the business readiness approach.
- Designing and implementing training and adoption strategies, ensuring efficient and effective methods.
- Ensuring that transition plans are developed to define how new ways of working will transition to business as usual.
- Leading engagement with key stakeholders to shape and deliver an ongoing programme of targeted communications that create and sustain a high level of positive engagement.
- Maintaining and continuously improve the Business Readiness practice.
You’ll be able to demonstrate
Essential:
- Proven track record of leading business readiness and user adoption in major transformation programmes, including cloud transformations.
- Proven track record in the design and delivery of training solutions across large user populations.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of best practice change management standards and tools covering readiness, planning and measurement.
- Experience of establishing a change management capability with proven results of successful adoption of process and technology change.
- Excellent oral, written, presentation and communications skills.
- Excellent team and people management skills.
- Able to lead, engage, and influence at all levels.
- Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
- Demonstrates the Guinness Leadership and Management Standard.
Desirable:
- Experience of cloud adoption projects and programmes.
- Experience of core Housing business processes and operations.
- Proficient in the use of change delivery and collaboration tools.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Recognised Project Management Qualification.
- Recognised Change Management Qualification.
Desirable:
- Programme Management Qualification.
